"This yoke pullover presents a stranded colorwork pattern reminiscent of the vaulted arches of Gothic cathedrals, in which we find majestic stained glass windows! I decided to name this pattern Notre Dame to pay tribute to the Notre Dame de Paris cathedral - which was the victim of a fire in April 2019" - Louise Robert

This yoke knits from top to bottom with an ease of about 2-4 in; 5-10 cm and ¾ length sleeves. You can adjust the length of the body and sleeves while keeping in mind also to adjust the amount of yarn required to make the sweater. The hem of the sweater and the cuffs are knit in faux cable ribbing. Visit our blog at BiscotteYarns.com for a tutorial about Fairisle and another on yoke increases. To make the : knit the strand between the stitch you have just knit (located on the right side) and the next stitch (on the left side). This increase will create a small "hole" that will be decorative and will be an integral part of the Fairisle pattern.
